VEASNA HAS

Veasna Has is a writer and nonprofit administrator interested in storytelling through written, cinematic, and dance mediums. Her writing explores themes of family and cultural identity, rooted in her Cambodian American upbringing. A 2024 Periplus fellow, Veasna’s work has also been supported by the Mendocino Coast Writers’ Conference and Kundiman. Born and raised in Long Beach, California, she currently calls Queens, New York home.
